This catalogue and CD was released by Rakett (Karolin Tampere and Åse Løvgren) in 2005. Artists and bands introduced in this Catalogue and on the CD are: Karin Lansoo, Sverre Stranberg, Marte Johnslien, Line Helen Danielsen, Monica Winther, Marius Mørch, Per Solvang, Andres Lõo, Terje Øverås, Nostation, Aurora Plastic Monster, Hello Country Club, Centre of the Universe, Riggelwerk, Gyron V. Rakett
consists of Karolin Tampere and Åse Løvgren and is a collaboration
that has lasted since 2003. They are a part of the independent and
non-commercial art scene where Rakett is a platform for various
activities, ranging from curating exhibitions to initiating projects. They
are educated at the Bergen National Academy of Arts and use their art
competence in an expanded notion of the artist’s role, in that they feel
free to juggle between acting as curators, object-producing artists,
concert organizers, catalogue publishers, etc. They try to keep all the
activities low-budget not to be caught up in too much bureaucracy, and
their aim is that their activities shall be spontaneous and mobile, always
retaining the freshness and energy, enhancing co-operations and
introducing people that they find interesting.
